Wild Creek Garden

I love the way a wild, crowded garden actually invokes peace, and a sense of being in nature. These clients in Encinitas received $4/sqft for their project through socalwatersmart.com for replacing their lawn with a water efficient landscape. The rock-lined swale fills with rainwater piped from their roof and patios. When it rains, the whole landscape transforms as clean water flows and infiltrates to provide water to their new landscape.

The clients tell me they spend time every day sitting in their new patch of nature. They are proud of their thriving front yard that has been recognized and featured in garden tours. We enjoyed building this front yard space and earthworks in Encinitas.
