The Dream Garden

A project near and dear to my heart. It was special to work on this property and witness the transformation. By the time we were done, it was such an incredible place to be that we were all sad to leave.

This client is a masterful gardener, and this property is part of her retirement dream. The scope is very extensive and the result feels like an immersive botanical garden or a nature retreat mixed with a high end natural backyard.

I cannot say enough about Ryan and his team! I worked with Green Dreams to turn a 0.5 acre blank slate into the fruit, vegetable, and native garden of my dreams! Ryan and his team worked closely with my landscape designer and water capture team and communication was excellent on all levels. Ryan and his team did the grading and swales (to maximize rain water collection and minimize standing water around the house), custom built greenhouse / shed / planting area, pathways, irrigation, a deck in the front and back, and more. Ryan also provided specific planting suggestions, planted my larger trees, and incorporated any changes I requested with ease. The only deviations from the estimate were due to my changes. The crew was hard-working, professional, and truly a joy to be around. Ryan and the entire team are truly passionate as well as knowledgeable about all areas related to sustainable landscaping, and I now have the retirement oasis that I dreamed about!

It’s been a year in my new space, and everything just keeps getting better with time. The rain capture tanks are full, the native landscape and fruit trees are thriving, and the vegetable garden has produced beyond my expectations. Thoroughly enjoying this dream garden space, and it was definitely money well spent.
