This lovely customer in Bay Park trusted us to push some limits with shapes and materials choices in order to solve their needs. We chose to rely on sculptural custom steel walls as the focal point, to act as retaining walls and planters. The large redwood tree and architecture of the house called for a wood boardwalk, with a seating wall cap and trellis to match. The entry stairs sit in the lush green of kurapia groundcover.
The design challenge here was to solve the grade issues while complementing the architecture of the house and we love how this one came out.
From the client:
I worked with Ryan to re-do my front yard landscaping. I didn’t really know what I wanted other than having a few key things like adding a lot of color and leveling out the space. We worked together back and forth over a couple months as I wasn’t in a hurry and he really spent the time to get an idea of what I would want and refine it- he was great at providing ideas he thought would work and he was ALWAYS spot on.
When it came time to do the work, Ryan and the Green Dreams team were probably the most professional team I have every worked with. Anthony and his crew showed up on time, communicated well, cleaned up each day. My neighbors even commented on how nice they were. Their work is top notch, I can’t say enough about their attention to detail. They even came back after everything was done to touch up some woodwork that shifted after the build.
I highly recommend Green Dreams Landscaping, you won’t be disappointed.
