Alpine Natural Living

A lovely family in Alpine hired us to design and build a space that would draw them outside every day to enjoy their large property. This is our favorite type of project- a highly custom and unique outdoor living space that also integrates into a rainwater harvesting, wildlife-friendly landscape. We are stoked that they do use the space we built every day; reading books, eating, spending quality time relaxing after work, gardening, and getting to know the wildlife on their property simply because they are outside more.

Made to Be Lived In

The clients told us they use this yard more than any other part of the house—and that’s always our goal. It’s a place to sit with a book, talk with friends, cook outside, and get your hands in the dirt.

Even the bar was built to solve a privacy issue without feeling like a screen. Every piece has a reason for being there, and it all works together to support daily life outdoors.
