VIEW ALL PROJECTSOne of our Mid-century modern landscape remodels in La Jolla. When we first showed up to meet the customer, there was just a pile of construction debris in the front yard and they were very excited to get started. After signing a design contract and creating a landscape design for them, they hired us to build it too.
This project came with some interesting design challenges. The clients trusted us to intentionally reconcile the grades (house lower than the angled street) and it never ceases to be a fulfilling experience when our designs come together successfully with both function and form. The creative modern layout of hardscape, fences, driveway, floating steps and plants, with some steel elements make this a clean and classy landscape that will stand the test of time. The clients ended up being beyond happy with the result, process, and of course, the crew!
