Earthworks are a way to sculpt the land to conserve water and prevent runoff. They are incorporated into our landscapes to increase fertility and resiliency of what we install.
Swales and basins
Basins here are fed by roof gutters and runoff, and passively irrigate surrounding plant roots as water infiltrates into the ground. They are often filled with mulch that breaks down into fertile, spongey soil, capable of holding water long-term.
