# Sustainable Pool Deck

We built this Accoya pool deck for a family with a steep backyard and no good hangout spot. The deck creates a clean, level surface to lounge, cook, and enjoy the view. All the materials were chosen to hold up to sun, water, and time, without sacrificing feel or sustainability.

Accoya wood is one of the most eco friendly materials:  it is Cradle to Cradle Certified at the Gold level overall and Platinum-rated in Material Health (the highest possible score in that category). It is also warrantied for 50 years because it is an impressively durable material.
