# South Park Modern Welcome

We were invite to this property because the homeowners had a dream of transforming their decades-old landscape of cracked concrete and dead grass. We worked with them to choose sustainable yet beautiful materials such as bamboo decking, low-water grass and cedar framed hogwire fencing.
Something rare (especially for south park) that we were able to achieve is a large fenced-in play space in the front yard. Instead of hauling the old porch to a landfill, we built a modern bamboo DassoXTR deck on top of it, and added bamboo accent siding and wall caps. My favorite features of this project are the steps leading up to the clean modern porch, and the double “saloon door” style gates that you can push in either direction.
This project was special because we were referred to it by a family who was our very first customer. It’s a sweet spot in South Park and the family is still loving the new yard years later.
