# Bay Park Contours

Front yard transformation in Bay Park, San Diego. This client trusted us to push some limits with shapes and materials choices in order to work with a sloped front yard. We relied on sculptural custom steel walls as retaining walls and planters. The large redwood tree and architecture of the house called for a wood boardwalk, with a seating wall cap and trellis to match. The entry stairs sit in a bed of Kurapia groundcover.
The design challenge here was to solve the grade issues while complementing the architecture of the house and we love how this one came out.
